The Bharat Space Education Research Centre is pleased to announce the Def-Space Summer School Programme 2026 , a flagship 6-week intensive online initiative under the Def-Space Education and Innovation.
This structured summer school delivers high-quality, hands-on education in Space Science, Defence Technology, and Emerging Technologies to school students. It cultivates innovation, technical proficiency, and career awareness among young learners, advancing India's Viksit Bharat @2047. vision and the Atmanirbhar Bharat commitment to technological self-reliance.
Admissions open to students in Classes VI to XII across all recognized boards:
Designed for young learners with a passion for Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM), focusing on Defence & Space, Computing, and Frontier Technologies.

Air taxi systems, defence UAV architectures and autonomy for next-gen drones.
Aerodynamics, CFD simulation, structural design and systems integration for aircraft.
Propulsion systems, launch vehicle design, staging and payload integration.
Electric vehicle powertrains, battery systems and charging infrastructure design.
Robotic platforms, control systems, perception and embedded integrations.

Key Programme Highlights
Economically Weaker Section candidates (whose family annual income is less than ₹7 lakh) can apply under the Weaker Section. The registration fee for this category is ₹750.
Deserving candidates may avail merit-based scholarships through the Bharat Def-Space Summer Internship Examination 2026, securing admission to Batch II (19th June – 30th July 2026). Scholarship awardees shall remit only the prescribed examination fee.
